Endodontist ~ Renee Litvak, DDS
Dr. Renee Litvak was raised in New York City, where she practiced Endodontics for over ten years before relocating to South Florida. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery and Postdoctorate Certificate in Endodontics. Prior to her dental training, Dr. Litvak earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. From 2004-2008, Dr. Litvak served as an Assistant Clinical Professor within the Division of Endodontics at Columbia University. She is a Board Member of the Dean’s Advisory Committee for Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine at Columbia University, where she has served as the President of the Alumni Association as well as the President of the Young 1852 Society. Dr. Litvak is also a Board Member of the Volunteer Development Committee for Columbia University, as well as a Board Member of the Columbia University Alumni Association. She is an elected member of the American College of Dentistry, a Board Eligible candidate for the American Board of Endodontics, and a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Florida Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Renee is ecstatic to now be a resident of Florida, in addition to her husband and two children.
Orthodontist ~ Sandy Goldenberg, DMD
Dr. Sandy Goldenberg was born and raised in South Florida. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She went on to receive her Doctorate degree in Medical Dentistry from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with honors at the top of her class. Dr. Goldenberg spent the next eight years in private practice achieving proficiency in all areas of dentistry. Additionally, she served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine, and as a volunteer dentist with Miami-Dade Department of Health.
Noting her affinity and aptitude for orthodontics, she decided to advance her knowledge by pursuing postgraduate education. She was accepted into the prestigious Postdoctoral Program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she obtained comprehensive training in state of the art orthodontic techniques. Upon completion of the program, Dr. Goldenberg chose to relocate back home to South Florida to continue her professional career.
Dr. Goldenberg is passionate about providing the most advanced and highest quality orthodontic care for her pediatric, adolescent and adult patients. Her unique experience, skill set, and qualifications allow for a tailored approach to the treatment of each patient. Dr. Goldenberg is grateful for the trust her patients have instilled in her over the last decade and is humbled by the ability to make a real difference in their lives.
Dr. Goldenberg is married with two children. She enjoys international travel and spending as much time as possible with her family and friends. She continues to volunteer her time in the local K-8 school and her congregation.
Dr. Goldenberg is an active member of South Florida Academy of Orthodontists (SFAO), Florida Association of Orthodontists (FAO), American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), and American Dental Association (ADA).
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon ~ Adam Fisher, DMD
Dr. Adam Fisher grew up in Metro-Detroit, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate training. From there, he moved to sunny Florida and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
After earning his DMD, Dr. Adam Fisher moved to Philadelphia to begin his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed internship training with the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Temple University Hospital, a program known for it’s strong background in dentoalveolar surgery, anesthesia and maxillofacial trauma. He then returned to Fort Lauderdale to complete his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Broward Health Medical Center. This program is recognized for it’s well rounded full scope OMS training, including facial cosmetics, dental implant surgery, craniofacial surgery, maxillofacial trauma, head and neck cancer and reconstructive surgery, anesthesia and dentoalveolar surgery.
On the personal side, he loves spending time with his wife and dog and enjoying the many outdoor activities Florida has to offer. He is also an avid ice cream enthusiast, who always takes the time to brush his teeth afterward.
Periodontist ~ Paul Fotek, DMD
Dr. Paul Fotek, a Board Certified Periodontologist and Implant Specialist, has continuously surpassed his professional and educational endeavors. He obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in Poland where his roots lie. He then shortly thereafter moved on to Toronto, Canada. After practicing general dentistry for a few years, he then advanced his career at The University of Michigan School of Dentistry. In 2007, he received his Certificate in Periodontology, where he was later awarded a teaching fellowship. While a resident at the University of Michigan, Dr. Fotek was a Clinical and Surgical Instructor. He also completed training to perform Wilckodontics® and completed the Misch International Implant Institute surgical training.
Dr. Fotek made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of his specialty and became an accredited Periodontist with the American Board of Periodontology. Board Certification includes demonstrating a comprehensive mastery of all phases of periodontal disease treatment and in the placement of dental implants.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Fotek is a caring, meticulous doctor who makes his patients feel at ease knowing they are in phenomenal, talented hands. Exceptional care, aesthetic satisfaction and patients’ health and well-being is of utmost concern to Dr. Fotek. His devotion to his patients does not go unnoticed and is admirable amongst many of his peers. It is a pleasure and honor to have him as part of the TLC Family.
Dr. Paul Fotek is an active member of numerous local, national and international dental societies. His passions also include his wife and two beautiful children.
Periodontist ~ Shmuel Stern, DDS
Dr. Shmuel Stern, a Board Certified Periodontist, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brooklyn College. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from New York University College of Dentistry. After completing his general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital, he studied all aspects of Periodontics as well as Implant Dentistry and Periodontal Prosthetics at Nova Southeastern University’s postdoctoral program in the College of Dental Medicine and received a Certificate in Periodontology.
In addition to being a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he has received many awards, including the CCPA Award (2000) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Award (2000). Dr. Stern is actively involved in the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, FDA’s “Project Dentist Care” and the South Florida District Dental Association.
Dr. Stern’s easy-going, laid-back demeanor is pleasantly accepted by his patients and makes dentistry a fearless, positive experience. He is happily married with two daughters and one son. He enjoys fishing, basketball, the outdoors and most importantly, spending time with his family!
Prosthodontist ~ Judith Gartner, DMD
Dr. Judith Gartner, Director of Quality Improvement for TLC Dental, received her dental degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas in 1993. After moving to the U.S. she completed an advanced graduate program in Prosthodontics and earned a Master of Medical Sciences degree at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1997. In addition, she completed the advanced standing program and obtained her DMD degree from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in 2001. She has been in private practice and teaching in the Department of Prosthodontics at NSU since then. Dr. Gartner has lectured nationally and internationally and has published numerous professional articles. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontics, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is an evaluator for the esteemed Clinicians Report, an non-profit testing center for new products and techniques. Dr. Gartner is fluent in Spanish, Hebrew and English.
